I was engaged in a political discussion with some folks at linkedin.com, and as often happens, the original topic was lost, and in one of my posts, I mentioned Ross Perot, and how his third party candidancy is probably responsible for the election of Bill Clinton.

With very little fanfare, the Hate Crime categories have been expanded in such a thoughtless way, that chaos in our courts is bound to ensue. The letter below was written by a listener to the Glenn Beck show. It describes a frustration, and alienation that I feel everyday, and that I sense from other people around me. It’s a head-shaking sense that we’ve suddenly awakened into a world which we did not create, nor envision, and in which we do not belong. California Assembly Bill 178 (AB178) proposes to collect sales tax from Internet purchases. There is a tiny made-up controversy brewing over whether Senator Boxer was being overly sensitive in asking General Walsh to address her as Senator, rather than as Ma’am. (See the video, below) |
