I’d like to hear a Senate candidate talk about Budget Reconciliation, and champion the drive to get rid of it; it has already caused this country great harm, and this is really only the beginning.

As we all know, it seems very likely that the Democratic majority will attempt to use what is called Budget Reconciliation (BR) to pass their Healthcare Reform Bill. In this case, we also know that the purpose of doing this is to perform an end-run around the Republicans who oppose the Bill. Obviously, she must have some doubt about passage of the entire Reform Plan, otherwise, why would she have a back-up plan ? |
