In the Republican contest to see who would face incumbent Democrat Senator Barbara Boxer in the November election, Carly Fiorina prevailed against Chuck Devore, and Tom Campbell. In the contest to see who would face incumbent Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, John Dennis prevailed against Dana Walsh. And, in the California Governor’s race, Meg Whitman prevailed over Steve Poizner, and will face Democrat Jerry Brown, in November.
Sorry, this is a really long post; I didn’t intend it that way; I sometimes lose control of my fingers when I’m a little ticked.
If you already know the GOP candidates, you can skip Part 1, and go directly to Part 2 (black font).

Part 1 Background
=========================
California has a primary election on June 8th. This is [...]
In an obvious last-ditch attempt to knock Chuck Devore out of the primary race, he is being accused of embellishing his military service by implying that his service included being “shot at”, which Devore denies, and which he has proven is false, and even has an audio record to prove it.
I’d like to hear a Senate candidate talk about Budget Reconciliation, and champion the drive to get rid of it; it has already caused this country great harm, and this is really only the beginning.
Instead of being concerned about the apparent fraud in some parts of the scientific, and political arena, when it comes to Global Warming, and the current Climategate scandal, California Senator Barbara Boxer’s solution is to kill the messengers.
Nancy Pelosi has shown that she is perfectly capable of ignoring a majority of Americans who do not want Health Care Reform (HCR), by forcing a ridiculous monstrosity of a bill through the House for reasons that I cannot discern. I’m too much of gentleman to tender a guess.
