The letter below was written by a listener to the Glenn Beck show. It describes a frustration, and alienation that I feel everyday, and that I sense from other people around me. It’s a head-shaking sense that we’ve suddenly awakened into a world which we did not create, nor envision, and in which we do not belong.
This letter hardly needs any explanation; I easily identify with it, and I certainly could not have said it better than she has; hooray for her; I wish I could shake her hand !
The letter begins:
“I’m a home grown American citizen, 53, registered Democrat all my life. Before the last presidential election I registered as a Republican because I no longer felt the Democratic Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. Now I no longer feel the Republican Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me.”
And it gets better, and better, from that point, on.
